Lab Fest Weekend is our July fundraiser for Lab Rescue of the LRCP. LabFest is a free, family-friendly canine gathering of regional Labrador Retrievers and other friendly dog breeds. Both winery dogs, Jet and Moxie, are lab rescues. That’s why we are so grateful that our Annual LabFest visitors help us raise money for LabRescue, from a portion of our winery’s LabFest sales. Join us this year – there will be live music, vendors and lots of pups.
Lab Rescue of the LRCP (Labrador Retriever Club of the Potomac) is a volunteer, nonprofit organization that rescues, fosters and places homeless, abused, and/or abandoned Labrador Retrievers. You can reach out to Lab Rescue at [email protected]
The nicest dogs bring their humans to the annual LabFest. Dogs can romp and run on the 215-acre estate, and swim in the ponds. (Bring a dog towel and your puppy’s favorite toy.) Visitors can soak in the sun and Maggie’s award-winning wines. There are baguettes, charcuterie and cheeses to feed your belly while you feed your soul. Or, pack your own picnic and enjoy it at one of our outdoor tables. (Virginia state law prohibits bringing any outside alcohol.)
